Event Matrix

Below is a link to the Event Matrix, which classifies events on both size and impact determines the level of assessment and notice in advance required to be provided in advance of a proposed event. in terms of size, less than 6 people in an event/group does not require any notification or assessment. For al proposed events/groups greater in size than six people, the matrix determines the notice period and the level of assessment required.

Event Assessment

The event assessment is a tool for event organisers to provide an assessment of their proposed Event across a list of impacts, determined by the Croagh Patrick Stakeholder Group, with suggested mitigation measures to reduce impacts and suggested control measures to ensure compliance. The tool also allows event organisers to substitute alternative mitigation measures. The tool has two forms, full assessment for higher impact and larger events and reduced assessment for lower impact and smaller events. It also contains a criterion to score the measures proposed for all impacts with the expectation that a score of at least 6 is achieved. Where this is not achieved, event organisers wil be asked to address the measures ni question. Where score of 6 or greater is achieved, a response advising that outcome will issue.
